The Onega WebCams

Onega are a real company, with real people. We have a pet hate of the many websites who use clipart of smiling people who don't actually work there. For example on of the products we use for IT support is TeamViewer – www.teamviewer.com we noticed that the girl there smiling and pointing to the box also popped up on other websites; it became a bit of a sport to spot these. We then found that TeamViewer Girl is actually Ariane and you can see a big list of where else she is at http://asianstockphotogirl.tumblr.com/ . We don't have anything against Ariane (consensus in the office is quite the opposite), but we like to think our clients aren't fooled by beauties with a headset next to 'call us' images on websites.

We are who we are at Onega and we hire staff because they care about clients, and not for their looks (legal disclaimer, we don't discriminate against anyone – if any models wish to turn their hands to IT service management then that's fine assuming they have the aptitude and attitude).

We are also aware that there are a lot of companies with good looking websites but behind this a 'bedroom operation' or sometimes even a fraudulent operation. Thus we like to present ourselves as ourselves; not the biggest company in the world and not the smallest, but a real and an honest one.

So... for transparency, for fun, for security, to see who you are talking to and for demonstration purposes (we install these) we have some office IP video cameras. These are from www.axis.com in Sweden if you are interested.
